Caterwauling Carlotta

For the past month I have been caring for Carlotta in Chapel Hill. She has a thyroid condition that makes her caterwaul. I give her a pill every morning and she takes it like a champ, sometimes with food and sometimes I just pop it in her mouth.

She loves nothing more than a good belly rub and to be held like a baby. She wraps her arms around my wrist purring herself to sleep and won't let go. She also has designated belly rubbing areas she will lead one to and enjoys burrowing in a blanket especially during this cold spell.

We've been trapped in the house all week due to the below freezing temperatures and snow. Things are supposed to warm up this weekend.
