I've been a very busy cat nanny these days. Here is just a sprinkling of a few of the felines I've been caring for.

Charlie and his sister Queen Latifah look nothing alike but they are litter mates with two very different personalities as well. Winston is 18 and incredibly patient and kind with them both.

Rosie and Maya

Rosie and Maya both do tricks for treats. Sit, shake, high five, high ten and "back up" which includes a butt wiggle. Maya, the brunette is elusive and mostly nocturnal. Rosie the blonde, is my new best friend, following me everywhere and always by my side.

Bootsie and Skinny

Been caring for Bootsie and Skinny since April 15 here in Duke Forest. Will be here till  June 11. Skinny is a purebred Tonkinese who was a professional show cat in his youth. He is now 19 and retired. We had some cold rainy nights and he enjoyed the fireplace. Bootsie is a feisty 12 year old who enjoys catching lizards.

Reuniting with Carlotta in Chapel Hill

Carlotta is a repeat customer. Last year at this time it was below freezing and we lost power. This year it's been close to 80 every day. We've been having a great time together hanging out on the deck, hammock, swing and going for long walks in her backyard.

She recently turned 18 and is in better health than when I first met her. She had an iodine treatment for her thyroid and now eats a raw food diet. She still loves to be chased up the long staircase in her castle and have her belly rubbed.
